“You can’t hit a homerun if you don’t go up to bat!” - me

To become a licensed auctioneer, you have to learn about every type of auction from selling pots and pans to real estate, but I knew I wanted to be a benefits auctioneer. I’ve always had a passion for advocating for those who can’t advocate for themselves and enjoyed volunteering for nonprofits. My company name, Sanders Brooke Auctions, is inspired by the people and places who made me who I am today and led me down the path that allows me to partner with amazing nonprofits and organizations. “Sanders” comes from my hometown, Sandersville, GA. A rural town in middle Georgia full of salt of the Earth, hardworking folks, who never ask for a handout but can sometimes use a hand up. “Brooke” is inspired by my late uncle, Danny Boy. Danny, who had Down Syndrome, was one of my favorite humans to be around. He taught me so much about kindness and joy, and he always called me by full name, Candace Brooke, so “Brooke” is for him.

Since forming Sanders Brooke Auctions in 2020, I’m proud to share I’ve served as the fundraising partner to all types of organizations from charitable foundations to schools to human and animal rescues to medical research to the arts, and so much more. I’m even more proud to share I have met, or more than met, every fundraising goal I’ve been asked to achieve for my clients! But enough about me. I want to hear about YOU! I look forward to working with you and creating not just a partnership but a friendship for years to come.

Sincerely,

Candace

Once upon a time, someone asked me, “Have you ever thought about auctioneering?” Truthfully, the thought had never crossed my mind, but this question planted a seed that slowly began to grow. Next thing I knew, I had to go up to bat…
